Summer Camps are back

News Editor19 Jul 2024 - 17:14

Here's everything you need to know...

We are delighted to be offering seven full weeks of Cricket Camps over the Summer for girls and boys of all ages and abilities (from U7+). Whether you're just getting into cricket or you're already County standard, the camps are for you.

Camps start on Monday 15 July and finish on Friday 30 August.

CLICK HERE to book your place.

Our camps are run by our Director of Cricket, John Maunders, and his brilliant coaching team. John is a former professional having played for England U19s, Middlesex, Essex and Leicestershire.

The camps are a great opportunity to keep active, learn new skills and make new friends in a fun and safe environment with top class facilities.

The full day runs from 9.30am to 4pm or you can book half days (Morning: 9.30am to 12.15pm; Afternoon: 1.15pm to 4.00pm). Please note that during cricket week (29 July - 2 August) only morning sessions will be available.

You may book half-days or full days. If you book a full week you will only pay for four days. Sibling discounts are also available.

The Camps are also open to non-members so if you have friends and family who may be interested, please pass on the message.

Please Bring
• Any cricket kit for coaching in the nets (we can help if you have none)
• A healthy nut-free packed lunch
• A drink - re-fillable water bottle is a good idea
• Comfortable clothing for sports (doesn’t have to be club kit)
• Comfortable trainers
• A wet weather top

Wet Weather Plan
The club has some indoor space available but if the weather or the forecast is poor then we may need to cancel that day's camp. It is important that we have emergency contact information so we can contact you with plenty of notice.

You must let us know by email to campbookings@sunburycricket.co.uk if:
1. Your child has a recent injury or medical condition which may affect their full participation on the day and/or has any allergies or medication. Please give details and bring EpiPens and inhalers etc on the day.
2. You DO NOT give permission to administer first aid if necessary.
3. You DO NOT give permission to take photographs for future club marketing and to appear as news items on our website.
