We are delighted to announce that former England International, Owais Shah, will be joining Sunbury for the second half of the @surreychamp season in 2023.

Owais has represented his country 94 times, and has scored an outstanding 60 centuries in professional cricket!

Having played for Welwyn Garden City for the past seasons, amassing 6565 runs for the club @ 69.11, close friends John Maunders and David Nash managed to convince the former @rajasthanroyals batter to pull on the sky blue for 2023.

Not only will Owais bring a great deal of skill and quality to the side, but his experience and knowledge of the game will be a superb addition to our youthful 1st XI squad.

We can’t wait to welcome the @englandcricket batsman to Kenton Court Meadow and watch him in full flow!
