After three years as Club President, Nobby Clarke is handing over the position to his successor, as is the tradition.

Nobby may be standing down as President but he is certainly not retiring from the game - which is just as well as he was presented with a new SCC playing shirt by club Chair, Colin Bentall, at last weekend’s work party day. This was just a small token of thanks for Nobby’s contribution to the club over the past three years, not least his support for the Six at Sunbury campaign to renovate and extend the outdoor nets.

A bona fide club legend, Nobby is about to embark on his 52nd consecutive season playing for Sunbury. An extraordinary achievement and example.

We are also pleased to report that Nobby with be handing over the Presidency to another club stalwart, Michael Lowe.
