National Cup - into the last 16!

An incredible chase of 281 in 40 overs against Datchet CC saw Sunbury progress to the last 16 in the National Cup - the first time in seven years!

Some exceptional striking and poor fielding saw Datchet reach a competitive 281 which looked even stronger when they reduced us to 9-2 in reply.

Man of the Match Liam Scott then joined Colby Dyer to produce an outstanding partnership of 169 built off skill and temperament.

Colby fell with 100 still required off the final 10 overs. So up stepped Alex Hughes to produce a freak innings of 63 (30), taking control of a century stand with Liam who ended 136* to see us home.
