I know you will all agree with me that our ground is second to none and the envy of pretty much every other club on the circuit. A lot of work from Gavin and our grounds team goes into maintaining it to such a high standard, and we are all grateful to them for their efforts and dedication.

A few cricket club basics to tell you about/remind you of.

1.⁠ ⁠Please don't walk across the squares at any time. I am at the ground most evenings and witness this happening very often.

2.⁠ ⁠Please don't warm up on the squares. I was at the club one evening this week, and teams were practising bowling in the middle of the top square.

3.⁠ ⁠Please look after the nets, pick up your rubbish when you have finished training, and shut the gates when you leave - we have a problem with foxes going into the net area at night.
