A bumper week for Sunbury's junior section, with plenty of wins across the age groups and some real standout individual performances to enjoy.

Saturday 13th June
The Girls U11s lost to Esher by 41 runs
A tough afternoon for the Girls U11s, who were bowled out for 66 in reply to Esher's 107-5.

Sunday 14th June
A packed Sunday with cricket right across the younger age groups.

The U12s beat Valley End by 87 runs
A commanding all-round display. Sunbury racked up 154-5 before bowling Valley End out for just 67.

The U9s won after Wycombe House conceded
The points went Sunbury's way without a ball bowled, as Wycombe House conceded the fixture.

The U10s lost to Pirbright by 1 run
The narrowest of margins. In a tight game decided on net score, Pirbright edged it by a single run.

The U9s beat Weybridge Vandals by 68 runs
A strong morning for the other U9 side, who came out comfortable winners by 68 runs.

The Girls U11s beat Ashtead by 111 runs
A brilliant bounce-back from Saturday, with the Girls U11s romping to a 111-run win over Ashtead.

The U8s lost to Valley End by 19 runs
A close one for the youngest age group, who came up 19 runs short against Valley End's Kestrels.

The U8s beat Cobham Avorians by 57 runs
The other U8 side finished on the right side of the result, beating Cobham Avorians by 57 runs.

Monday 15th June
The U12s were awarded the points after Fulham conceded
A second concession of the week fell Sunbury's way, with Fulham unable to fulfil the fixture.

Tuesday 16th June
A busy evening with three games in action.

The U11s beat Indian Gymkhana by 10 wickets
A superb all-round performance. The bowlers shared the wickets around to skittle Indian Gymkhana for just 45, before Dhamanveer Singh blazed 26 from only 13 balls, hitting five fours, to knock off the runs in no time as Sunbury raced to 48-0.

The Surrey U14s beat East Molesey by 11 runs
Sunbury batted first and posted 147-5, with Harry Morris leading the way on 40 from 30 balls and Vivaan Senapati chipping in with 29. Leo McLeod (2-22) and Vyas Pratyush (2-27) then did the damage to keep East Molesey to 136-6.

The U17 Bs lost to Hampton Hill by 1 wicket
So close. Batting first, Sunbury made 121, with Harry Kerridge in fine form for a brilliant 56 from 32 balls, including eight fours and a six. Tom Williamson then almost dragged Sunbury over the line with a superb 5-24, but Hampton Hill held their nerve to reach 127-9 and sneak home with a wicket to spare.

Thursday 18th June
busy evening with four games on the go.

The U14s beat Barnes by 5 wickets
A fantastic chase. Set 167 to win after Barnes posted 166-1, Sunbury got home thanks to a stunning unbeaten 63 from Lucas Cholewa, who struck eight fours and three sixes, and a quickfire 49 from Ridhaan N Gala.

The Girls U13s beat Valley End by 9 wickets
A dominant team effort. Valley End were held to 79-6 with the wickets nicely shared around the side, before Hrisha Shah top scored with 22 to guide Sunbury to 81-1.

The U15s lost to Ashford by 4 runs
Agonisingly close. Chasing Ashford's 144-2, Sunbury were bowled out for 140 right at the death. Liam O'Connor and Jack Marland both made 30 and Marlee Sharp chipped in with 23, but the runs just dried up at the end.

The U13s lost to Teddington by 6 wickets
A tougher game for the U13s, who were bowled out for 90. Ahad Khan top scored with a lively 24 including two sixes, but Teddington passed the total for the loss of four wickets.

The U15s' other fixture, against Staines & Laleham, was postponed.

Friday 19th June
The Surrey U14s beat Thames Ditton by 8 wickets
A great way to finish the week. Thames Ditton were held to 125-7, with Max Page (2-17) and Deyaan Jangra (2-5) leading the way with the ball. Sunbury then cruised home, Ethan Mathieson (43 not out) and Harry Morris (40) both retiring after superb knocks, each striking five fours and three sixes.[b][/b]
