Sunday 7th June
A busy Sunday brought a real mix of results across the age groups, with some big wins to celebrate and a few narrow defeats to learn from.

The U9s beat Indian Gymkhana by 110 runs
A superb all-round display saw Sunbury rack up 346-6 before keeping Indian Gymkhana to 236 in a commanding win.

The U9s beat Byfleet by 29 runs
Another fine win for the U9s, who chased down Byfleet's 278-6 to finish on 307-9 and complete the double for the age group on the day.

The U8s beat Dorking by 104 runs
The youngest side produced the standout total of the morning, piling up 347-1 before restricting Dorking to 243-6 in a brilliant team effort.

The U12s lost to Royal Ascot by 63 runs
A tougher day for the U12s, who were bowled out for 64 in reply to Royal Ascot's 127-8.

The U13s lost to Chertsey by 1 run
Heartbreak at Abbeyfields as Sunbury fell agonisingly short, finishing on 105 with Chertsey edging home on 106-6 in a real nail-biter.

The U10s lost to Chertsey by 28 runs
Sunbury battled hard for their 258-8 but Chertsey just had too much, reaching 286-9 to take the win.

The U11s lost to Chobham by 50 runs
A difficult afternoon for the U11s, who were held to 68-9 chasing Chobham's 118-8.

The U8 YAMS also turned out for a friendly, with no result recorded.

The u15 Girls had a good day with a big win over Weybridge Vandels in the 100 Cup, scoring 191 from 100 balls. Lilian 51 and Harri 53 leading the way. A very good Team Bowling display with wickets spread across the team saw the Vandels all out for 28

Monday 8th June
The weather had the final say, with three fixtures abandoned without a ball able to settle them.
The U13s (against Wycombe House), the U12s (against Indian Gymkhana) and the U10s (against Teddington) all shared the points.

Tuesday 9th June
The U17s beat Richmond in the Chairmans County Cup
A solid performance by our u17s to win by 5 wickets

The U14s beat Thames Ditton by 5 wickets
A great chase saw Sunbury knock off Thames Ditton's 128-4 with overs to spare. Vivaan Senapati set the tone with a quickfire 43 from just 27 balls, including six fours and a six, before Krishan Bhatt finished things in style with an unbeaten 16 from 9. Earlier the bowlers had kept things tight, Rabee Rehman taking 2-14 from his 4 overs, with Rishaan Gawans and Akshaj Gupta chipping in too.

The U15s lost to East Molesey by 27 runs
A competitive game that got away in the end. Chasing East Molesey's 149-4, Sunbury finished on 122-7. Adhayan Singh top scored with an unbeaten 32 from 22 balls, striking six fours, while Grace Mansfield and Arjan Thandi also made useful contributions. Vayun Jain was the pick of the bowlers with 2-16.

Wednesday 10th June
The U11s beat Twickenham by 114 runs
A dominant all-round performance. Sunbury posted 167-4, with Dhamanveer Singh blazing 35 from just 17 balls and William Dixon matching him for fireworks with 32 from 16. Zachary Day (22) and Henry Armstrong (21 not out) kept the runs flowing. The bowlers then ran riot, dismissing Twickenham for just 53. Siddarth Mahadevan took 2-19 and Charanjit Singh returned a brilliant 2-4.

The Girls U12s beat Chertsey by 3 runs
A tense finish in the girls' section. Sunbury batted first and reached 110-2, with Hrisha Shah and Tabitha Klein both making 30 and Phoebe Bentall adding an unbeaten 18. Chertsey came up just short on 107-1, with Lyla Gammage grabbing the key wicket.

Thursday 11th June
The Girls U15 fixture against East Molesey's Academy side was postponed.

Friday 12th June
The U15s beat Indian Gymkhana by 3 wickets
A well-judged chase saw Sunbury overhaul Indian Gymkhana's 102-7 to finish on 104-7. Jack Marland led the way with 35 and Jacob Rice held his nerve at the death with 17 not out. With the ball, Eshan Patel (2-15) and Nick Byrne (2-11) did the damage, with Jacob Rice also bowling economically.

The U14s beat Richmond in the Cup Quarter Final
The pick of the week. In a dramatic Middlesex Cup quarter-final, Sunbury posted 146-8 and then defended it to the very last ball. Ridhaan Gala anchored the innings with a brilliant 38 from 35, hitting three sixes, while Ranveer Singh smashed an unbeaten 16 from just 6 balls to give the total a real lift. The bowlers held their nerve under huge pressure, Ranveer Singh taking 3-17 and Leo McLeod 3-28, as Richmond finished level on 146-9, Sunbury sneaking through having lost fewer wickets. A fantastic effort to reach the semis.
