It was another busy spell for the junior section, with strong batting and some excellent bowling spells right across the age groups.
Sunday 31st May
U13 beat Effingham by 59 runs
A great start to the week. Sunbury batted first and the top order all chipped in. Deben Ganguly retired not out on 33 from 26 balls (five fours), Aarav Rathi also retired not out on 31, and Sai Advaith smashed a quick 23 off just 15 with five fours. Zorarver Dhillon finished things off with an unbeaten 19 (including a six) to push Sunbury up to 147-7. The bowlers then took control. Charlie Bloomfield (2-7), Noah Kennedy (2-25) and Ben Stevens (2-17) all grabbed a pair of wickets, with Lenny Connors and Sai Advaith chipping in, as Effingham were held to 88-8.
U12 beat Woking & Horsell by 14 runs
The U12s set a big total of 151-6 from their 20 overs, then dug in with the ball to bowl Woking & Horsell out for 137 and seal the win.
U11 beat Shepperton by 43 runs
A really controlled performance. They posted 131-3 batting first, then squeezed Shepperton all the way down to 88-5 to win comfortably.
U9 beat Cobham Avorians by 85 runs
The U9s put on a show, racking up 194-6 in their 16 overs before bowling out Cobham Avorians for 129. On net scores it finished 364 to 279.
U8 beat Ham and Petersham by 24 runs
A tight one for the youngest team. Ham and Petersham reached 150-12, but Sunbury's 129-3 was enough on net scores (314 to 290) to take it.
Monday 1st June
U14 beat Indian Gymkhana by 32 runs
Sunbury batted first and Ridhaan N Gala led the way with a brisk 34 from 32 balls, hitting six fours. Maximus Williams chipped in with 29 off 25 and Krrish Patel added a useful 17 as Sunbury reached 132-8. The bowlers then took over. Krrish Patel was the pick with 2-9 from his 2 overs, while Maximus Williams (1-8), Aarthik Lowmeharan (1-21) and Ranveer Singh (1-17) all struck to keep Indian Gymkhana stuck on 100-8.
Girls U13 beat Chertsey by 86 runs
A brilliant team display. Openers H Shah (41 from 33 balls, seven fours) and H Wheeler (40 from 25, eight fours) both retired after a superb opening stand of 105, setting up a total of 161-5. In reply, Chertsey never got going. D Kapoor was outstanding with 2-7 from her 3 overs, with K Cheung, J Cross and A Killick all picking up a wicket as Chertsey were held to 75-5.
Tuesday 2nd June
The weather won the day, with both the U11 fixture against Fulham and the U10 match against Indian Gymkhana abandoned without a ball that counted.

The weather wins again with the u10s Cup game abandoned.
Thursday 4th June
U13 lost to Indian Gymkhana by 5 wickets
A tough night, but a fantastic individual effort from Ranveer Singh, who carried his bat for an unbeaten 52 (one six, six fours) to drag Sunbury up to 121-9. Charlie Rice gave good support with 16. The bowlers fought hard, with Lenny Connors (1-14), Arhaan Khan (1-16), Krishan Bhatt and Dhamanveer Singh all chipping in, but Indian Gymkhana got home with five wickets in hand.
U14 beat Pyrford by 32 runs
Sunbury made 119-8, with Deyaan Jangra finishing unbeaten on 23, V Senapati top scoring early with 19 and Pranav Vyas adding 14 not out. The bowling was the real story though. Ramin Rehman was superb with 2-6 from 3 overs, and the wickets were shared right around the team, with L McLeod (1-6), S Shanker (1-7) and Deyaan Jangra (1-4) all keeping it tight as Pyrford were bowled out for 87.
Friday 5th June
U15 beat Wycombe House by 27 runs
The U15s rounded off the week nicely, posting 141-6 and then holding Wycombe House to 114-4. Jack Marland leading the way with a great knock, 60 off just 38 balls
