A massive week for the club, with three different age groups through to Cup semi-finals or better and the U10s booking their place in the last four of the South U10 Cup. There were heartbreaks too, with the Girls U15s edged out by five runs at Weybridge just days after a narrow loss to East Molesey, but the overall picture is a hugely positive one, headlined by D Ganguly's remarkable 6-2 against Hampton Hill.

Saturday 4th July
The Girls U12s beat Normandy by 20 runs
Sunbury posted 117-2 and Normandy came up short on 97-5 in a solid start to the weekend for the girls' section.

Sunday 5th July
A jam-packed Sunday across the age groups, with the club winning eight of the day's nine completed fixtures.

The U9s beat Hampton Hill by 37 runs
A big morning for the young Sunbury side, posting 125-3 for a net score of 310 and restricting Hampton Hill to 273 net.

The U13s beat Shepperton by 14 runs
Sunbury made 124-8 and defended it well as Shepperton fell short on 110-7.

The U12s beat Hampton Hill by 13 runs
A strong batting effort saw Sunbury reach 159-4, with Hampton Hill unable to chase it down, finishing on 146-9.

The U11s beat Bracknell United by 2 wickets
A tight run chase saw Sunbury edge past Bracknell United's 78 all out, reaching 80-7.
The Girls U11s beat Pyrford by 76 runs
A dominant display saw Sunbury post 133-1 for a net score of 328, well clear of Pyrford's 252 net.

The U8s beat Old Wimbledonians
Sunbury were 134-3 (net score 319) against Old Wimbledonians' 89-7 (net score 254) when the match data cuts off, so no result has been recorded for this one.

The U10s lost to Camberley by 8 runs
A tough day for the U10s, who posted 107-8 (net 267) but couldn't quite match Camberley's 130-11 (net 275).

The U9s beat Hampton Hill by 4 runs

The U9s completed the double for the day, edging out Hampton Hill's second side 275 to 271 on net score.

Monday 6th July
The Girls U15s lost to East Molesey by 12 runs
Chasing East Molesey's 146-5, Sunbury fell just short on 134-5. Grace Mansfield top scored with 42 from 29 balls including six fours and a six, with Tia Nagandla adding 17. Alpa Varma took 2-36 with the ball, and Leah Brandon and Lilian Cattley each chipped in with a wicket.

The Girls U13s beat Chobham by 6 wickets in the Hundred Cup
A fine chase saw Sunbury overhaul Chobham's total, reaching 90-3. Harri Wheeler starred with a brilliant 41 not out, while H Shah and K Cheung both got starts. Tanushka Singh led the bowling with 3 wickets, well supported by T Klein, also with 3.

The U12s beat Sheen Park by 9 wickets to reach the Cup Final
A superb all-round performance in the Semi Final. Sunbury bowled Sheen Park out for 93, with L Wanigesekera the star taking 4 wickets. The chase was over inside seven overs, A Chadha finishing unbeaten on 34 and O Birch smashing 42 from just 19 balls including two sixes. A great win to reach the final.

Tuesday 7th July
The U14s beat Egham by 43 runs
Sunbury posted a big 187-6, led by E Mathieson's unbeaten 44 including four sixes. V Senapati got things going with a quickfire 31, and M Page and S Shanker both chipped in with useful runs down the order. Egham were kept to 144-3 in reply, H Morris and R Rehman among the wicket takers.

The U17s beat Ealing Trailfinders by 10 wickets
A ruthless bowling display saw Ealing Trailfinders bowled out for just 15, with T Williamson and A Connors both taking 3 wickets. Sunbury knocked off the runs inside a single over.

Wednesday 8th July
The U17s beat Hampton Wick Royal by 10 wickets
Sunbury bowled Hampton Wick Royal out for just 58, with Jack Marland taking 2-15 and Thomas Wilson 2-4. A strong bowling effort to seal a comfortable win.

The U14s beat Indian Gymkhana by 2 wickets to reach the Cup Final
A dramatic Cup Semi Final chase. Sunbury got home on 103-8 in reply to Indian Gymkhana's 102 all out, with R Singh finishing unbeaten on 19. A Lowmeharan starred with the ball, taking 3-6, while R Singh and L McLeod both took 2 wickets apiece. A brilliant win to reach the Cup Final.

The Girls U13s lost to East Molesey by 12 runs
Chasing 126, Sunbury finished on 114-1. D Kapoor and T Singh both batted well, retiring not out on 32 and 30 respectively.

The U12s beat Ashford CC by 8 wickets in a friendly
A good workout against older opposition. Sunbury chased down Ashford's 137-9 with ease, reaching 138-2, with A Sharma, W Dixon, A Chadha and C Pathiranage all retiring not out after useful contributions, and R Behniwal finishing unbeaten on 22.

The U10s beat Teddington Town by 80 runs to reach the Cup Semi Final
A brilliant all-round performance. Sunbury posted 130-6, with T Rogers unbeaten on 24 and S Thommadura contributing 22. Teddington Town were then bowled out for just 50, R Lines and H Forest each taking 2 wickets. A great win to book a place in the semis.

Thursday 9th July
The U17s beat Teddington by 6 wickets in the Chairman's Cup
A composed chase saw Sunbury reach 132-4 in reply to Teddington's 129-5. T Goldney led the way with 52, and A Unni finished unbeaten on 43. Z Barnes was the pick of the bowlers with 2-19.

The Girls U15s lost to Weybridge by 5 runs
A heartbreaking finish, with Sunbury falling just short on 153-7 chasing Weybridge's 158-4. R Gala top scored with a superb 43 from 26 balls including eight fours and a six, and Grace Mansfield added 17. R Gala and Lilian Cattley both took 2 wickets with the ball.

Friday 10th July
The U13s beat Hampton Hill by 96 runs
A dominant win. Sunbury posted 167-8, with R Singh making 39 and O Barnes 33. Hampton Hill were then skittled for just 71, D Ganguly running through the order with an outstanding 6-2 from his four overs, three of them maidens.

The Girls U13s beat Chobham by 7 wickets
Chasing just 78, Sunbury cruised home on 81-1. Hrisha Shah led the chase with a retired-not-out 32, and Bea Earl added 19. With the ball, Joanna Allan and Jemimah Cross both took 2 wickets as Chobham were bowled out cheaply.

The U17s beat Teddington by 82 runs
A brilliant batting display saw Sunbury post 206-4, with R Mehmi smashing an unbeaten 71 from 40 balls including nine fours and two sixes, and C Maunders adding 54. Teddington were bowled out for 124 in reply, A Grainger and A Connors both taking 2 wickets.
