Tonight sees the first fixture for the new Sunbury Women’s Team as they welcome Thames Ditton in the Surrey T20 Cup. Play starts at 6pm.

This is followed by their first league match on Sunday 24 May against Esher, with a 2pm start.

The women’s team has grown from humble beginnings, dating back to when our first U10 Girls side played its inaugural softball league season.

From that very first team, Sophie Byrne, Lilian Cattley and Rhythm Gala all featured for the U10s — and all three are part of tonight’s squad, highlighting the fantastic progress of our girls’ pathway.
