Amar Virdi, Surrey’s title-winning off-spinner is among the 18 bowlers who will begin individual training sessions from Thursday in anticipation of England staging an international summer.

Virdi, 21, was the first-choice spinner when Surrey won the County Championship in 2018 and has a reputation for extracting a lot of turn

Amar came to Sunbury as a colt to learn and train with Sunbury for the facilities and the colt setup here. He played 1st XI cricket till last year with us even while playing with Surrey and the England Lions.
