Never before has a Sunbury player written an autobiography; and never before, as far as we know, has an author written his own review of his own autobiography.

That it is David Nash who is first to do both may come as little surprise to those who know him – nothing surprises us about Nashy!

He knows success and he knows how to create success. With glowing reviews the book is sure to be a good read providing a very personal insight into David Nash the man, his trials and his tribulations. Typical also of Nashy is that the book has a charitable aim in raising funds for the Ruth Strauss Foundation.

Nashy's wizardy in being both fulsome and self deprecating in a single breath is encapsulated in his own review. Fighting for space in a sea of glowing reviews David strides boldly to the front: “As you’d expect, the book is short with not many long words! It’s called ‘Bails and Boardrooms’ and is all about my life in cricket and business”.

He is not alone however in praising his book's virtues:

Penny Hughes: “An engaging story with real lessons from a life well-lived. Everyone can pick up a tip or two and reflect with the same honesty about what it takes to taste success, to get through the harder moments in life and ultimately be happy in your own skin. Both Bails and Boardrooms would benefit from a few more like Nashy!”

Angus Fraser: “Bails and Boardrooms is a considered reflection of the phenomenon that is David Nash; a whirlwind of actions, reactions, emotions, empathy and ideas. It is an easy and enjoyable read containing sage advice at a pace which makes you understand why time spent with Nashy is never dull or unforgettable.”

Anyone pre-ordering Nashy's new book before Christmas will receive a signed and personalised copy of the book due for release on 22nd March 2021!
