Sunbury Sports Association manages the bar for Sunbury Cricket Club, Sunbury Sports Bowls Club, Sunbury Weight Training Club and Sunbury Squash Club in what is a predomonantly young and lively environment.

We are offering a competitive rate above the minimum wage, from £7.85 per hour, for casual part-time staff. Higher rates apply for those aged 21 and over.

The bar is open most weekday evenings, and from midday on Saturdays and Sundays all through the year. The busy times of the week tend to be Friday and Saturday evenings when extra staff can be required. Staff are expected to commit to regular Friday and Saturday (day time or evening) shifts and occasional mid-week shifts. Applicants must show a willingness to be available when extra staff are required for functions and to cover for colleagues.

We welcome applications from both experienced bar staff and those willing to develop a new skill. Applicants must be 18 or over. They will need to demonstrate high standards of integrity and reliability, accurate operation of an electronic till, good interpersonal skills and cheerfulness under pressure. A confident and friendly manner is essential.
