2nd XI v Spencer – 17 June 2017

Sunbury 2nd XI destroyed the reigning champions by 6 wickets with a scintillating bowling performance.

Three wickets a piece for Saran Kalsi, Ed Knight and Nish Madan after losing the toss meant that the 2s were able to restrict Spencer to only 121. The bowling was backed up with a top class fielding display, with two catches each for Kalsi and Greg Havard.

Batting wise, we started off badly losing 2 quick wickets but there was absolutely nothing to worry about. Darren London joined Rajan Soni and blew the opposition away with some audacious shots. Rajan departed but our VC finished the game off with a well deserved half-century. Dazzle is now averaging 98 after six league games.

With Wimbledon losing the 2s go top of the league! Bring on Normandy!!!
